HEaTED attended the TMU Conference on Wednesday 14th April 2021.
In keeping with the new normal, TMU2021 moved its annual Conference online after having to postpone last year due to the pandemic. The event saw around 130 Technical Managers and Technical Staff from across the UK join in to the meeting.
Geoff Howell, TMU Chair gave the welcome and kicked off the meeting. The meeting commenced with an update on the Technician Commitment Initiative by Simon Breeden followed by a talk from their Gold Sponsors ‘Siso’ a proven inventory management and equipment booking system provider.
Liam Barr from HEaTED spoke about the ‘new’ HEaTED team and operations as well as informing everyone how we can support them. We were also very excited to share news of new courses that we had recently released.
The meeting also held an update from Jake Green and Jediah Mould from HEaTED partners, the National Technician Development Centre.
To wrap up the meetings, the TMU team rounded up the event with a financial report and update for TMU2022.
HEaTED were happy to support this event and are willing to support our partners, member organisations and technicians with any future events, meetings and conferences.
