Suhel Miah

Head of Training & Development

Suhel is a career technician with 30+ years of experience in providing technical services to academia in Higher Education. He has provided operational and technical strategic management oversight, including the development and delivery of a range of customer–focused high quality technical service functions by leading specialist teams.

Suhel provides expert advice and guidance in the development of professional and soft skills learning. He conducts training, coaching and creating engaging and interactive content with insight and know-how.

Harriet Grant

Administration Officer

Harriet joined the team in 2021 as an integral part of the administrative and operations team.

Harriet brings a wealth of administration experience to the team as well as a customer service background.

As the Administration Officer for HEaTED, Harriet supports all aspects of the operational administration functions and is always happy to assist with your questions and support you in whatever way she can.

Michael joined HEaTED in 2021 and is currently working part-time alongside completing a Masters in Biology at the University of Sheffield.

Throughout his degree, he has developed numerous management and organisation skills. Recently, this has included leading weekly meetings, writing laboratory protocols and handling large quantities of data for statistical analyses.

Michael provides administrative support to the HEaTED team.

Itzelle Medina Perea

Assistant Administrator

Itzelle is currently doing a PhD at the Information School at the University of Sheffield. She has several years of experience working within the higher education sector in both administrative and research roles. In addition to this, she has completed a BA and a MA in Librarianship and Information Studies, which helped her to develop key skills to manage and organise information and to design and implement information services for different communities. Itzelle provides administrative support to the HEaTED team.
