Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, providing vital technical support for our teaching and research activities. The role will support our Department of Computer Science, within the School of Informatics & Digital Engineering.

This is a particularly exciting time to join Computer Science at Aston. As they grow, they have just established programmes in the areas of cyber security and AI. Aston are expanding our collaborative research activities, especially with businesses, and we are a leading member of the national Institute of Coding.

Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or a career providing equivalent experience.  You will have excellent computer programming skills across a range of languages, including Java and Android, and will be able to clearly explain complex ideas/information to students in an accessible way.
