The role

The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC), based at the University of Sheffield, are looking to expand the team of their training arm, HEaTED, and as such are looking to engage with a highly motivated, experienced and professional individual to manage day-to-day operations, expand on existing opportunities and develop new areas for growth.
 
In order to be considered for this role you will have a proven track record in delivering results in targeted environments and be an experienced people manager with a strong background in business development and operational management. The NTDC and HEaTED employ a small dedicated team who work closely, collaboratively and supportively towards strategic goals to help develop support the technical workforce across the Higher Education sector. You will be joining a diverse team of highly experienced and personable professionals who work flexibly across multiple functions to deliver projects and maintain the day-to-day running of the departments.
 
Both the NTDC and HEaTED promote the work of technicians within HEIs as well as support their members with both institutional strategic and individual personal development services.
